Astra decided to keep it simple. "I have had a very long day so if we could keep the talk of religion apart from your gracious offer of hospitality?" "Of course, of course." said the man. Soon Astra was dressed in frumpy, pink frilly things. Seems the monks or priests had a 'church volunteer' that had somehow followed them down into their seclusion. And Mrs. Abrams was glad for a fellow female to talk to. After all, the men, good as they were, weren't women and they did need a woman. Astra stood to one side as Mrs. Abrams bustled around the small living space, pulling this and tugging that. The older woman bounced from topic to topic like a ball in a gambling game but despite Astra's gentle hints, she did not mention anything as to why she came down to the caverns to 'keep the men on their toes, a good man, or good men, need a woman behind them'. But the food was good and the bed was warm and the doors had solid locks.
