"All right," Astra said. "We will do as you ask. But with there being so many books here, it may be difficult for us to come up with anything that you do not already know. I imagine that you will have all the folk tales of Aqualaria recorded, for instance."

"You could always tell us your own story," the spokesbook suggested. "We do not know anything about that, and autobiography is always popular."

"What do you mean: 'autobiography'?" Astra asked.

"Naturally whatever you tell us will be incorporated as a chapter in whichever book is most appropriate or, if sufficiently substantial, will become a book in its own right. In either case, it will be written down in the first person, exactly as you relate it."

  1. "Very well. Then listen to: 'The Life Story of Princess Astra of Aqualaria, Incorporating an Account of Her Experiences in the Northern Caves.'"
  2. "I don't think that I want to tell my own story," Astra said. "Certain recent events are too embarrassing. Would you be willing to tell them your story instead, Fred?"
