Being Ignorant is Awesome

"HELP! HELP ME! I'M CAUGHT!!" Scott screams. The sound of thousands of Skittles being moves around nearly drowns him out.

Josh manages to make his way over from his spot to the room where Scott is, and he can't believe his eyes. Scott is mostly buried in the Skittles, and he only has both arms and his head above the surface. Occasionally, Scott slips underneath.

"Scott, what the hell is wrong with you?!" Josh demands.
"I'm caught in the undertow, Josh! HELP ME!"
"There is no undertow in a candy pile, idiot!"
"YES, THERE IS! I'm stuck in it now! Pull me out!"
"Try standing up, Scott!"

1. Scott heeds Josh's simple advice.
2. Scott slips under for the last time. Josh goes to pull him out.
3. Scott is pulled to the spiral staircase, and he slips down deeper into the Skittles. How deep does the candy go?
