Alura gets stung by the rare, well-known, purple-clothed Enlarging Gnome. Velus kills the Gnome with a rock, but it is too late. Carefully, Alura exits the water, mindful of her now enormous feet.

  1. Fortunately the curse wears off in an hour.
  2. Nobody knows when the curse will wear off, just that it will.
  3. The curse is permanent. Alura will have to learn how to walk again.
  4. The curse can only be removed by confessing to other humans the cursed person's deepest, darkest secret.
