"Die Traiter!" Fred yells as he lunges his sword at the girl's stomach.
Within a second's time, checkers dodges the attack, takes out her knife,
and cuts of Fred's sword hand. He falls down to the ground, shreaking in
pain. "Don't kill him too fast, Checkers" sneers the dragon. Checkers
runs up to Fred, grabs his hair, and pulls his head up. "What did I just
get done telling not too long ago. You knights. Your all brawn, no
brains." She spits in his face, slams it against the ground, drops her
knife, and backs away. "Take your shot" she said, her back turn and unarmed". Go ahead. "Show us what the King's Knight can do". Fred staggered up, trying to ignore the pain. He picked up the knife but did nothing. "I'm waiting" Checkers said, tapping her foot. "What is she thinking?" wondered Fred. "She'd have thought of attacking with and throwing the knife, or maybe she just wants me to think that. "I'm getting impatient Knight" she says. You have ten seconds to take your shot, starting now. Nine Seconds: "Is it worth trying to throw? She cut off my throwing hand"Eight: "I can't run. It would take too long to get out of here. Seven: "Foolish Knight. You're going to need more than ten seconds to figure out something to beat me! Six: She is entertaining. It's a shame I'll have to kill herFive:.... Four: "Hurry up you fool!"Three: "Help me, God." Two: "I've got to do something, Now!"
