Velus and Sir Toby

To the left is a sloping area which leads down into a seemingly bottomless pit. To the right is a huge cliff, with much scree piled at the bottom. There are a few pits of water, deep enough for Toby to be submerged in.

The dragon was their, streched out around some of the lakes, snoozing and evaporating some of the water with each breath.

Our Hero silently tip-toed through the water and came to the dragon's neck.

He lifted up his axe and...

1. swung it down, killing the dragon.
2. swung it down. It went 'SPANG' and shattered on the hard scales.
3. the dragon's mouth whipped around, chomping on Sir Toby. All that was left of him was his upraised arms and the axe, which fell harmlessly.
4. found himself in a strange dimension, victim of a booby trap spell.
