"We shall go forward," said Lord Fred. "Whatever dangers are there we
shall face together. It is better than turning back towards the burning
mouth of a devlish dragon!"
"Fools!" said the Troll. "You have already ignored my wisdom once before, shall you do it again?" "Shut up you ugly monster!" yelled Belboz the Necromancer. "How DARE you?!!?" screamed the troll. "My name is Sir Gregorio Vichenzi Lupus the IV and I am NOT a monster!" "Quiet you two!!!" yelled Lord Fred. "This will get us nowhere but killed! We must work together. Now cousin, I know you want us to turn back, but we can't! We must gather forces to destroy this evil serpent and to do so we must live long enough to escape these foul caves. Forward we shall go, together. You and Belboz have your magics and between you both we shall be triumphant! Now let us go!" They walked stealthly into the dark and dreary cavern. The odor of burnt flesh was strong and the walls were warm to the touch as well. Some three meters into the cavern the light faded and still the party of three continued. They walked straight as sticks and though the stench was awful they persevered. All was silent but for the breathing of the three. All was oddly still but for the clank and patter of the two men. All was dark but for the strange reflections from off the armour of the knight of the Great Kingdom. And then they saw the source of the smells and they knew it to be a blasphemy, a wicked and grotesque mockery of truth and right. At the end of the cavern was a pot, a large grey pot. There was a fire that glowed beneath it, a fire that warmed the contents and boiled the inner oils. Though most of the contents of the pot were within and well out of sight, there was one ingredient that lay half exposed, bent unnaturally over the brim of that large grey pot. What the threesome saw made their skin crawl and their stomachs heave. What they saw was a human arm sticking out from the bubbling cauldron!
