“It’s the gnomes!” Exotica squealed nasally. “We’re doomed!” Indeed, soaring above them were the dreaded airships, automowingers, cybocopters, technogliders, thunderbuggies, skyzoomers, cycloflyers, humzingers, aeromobiles, and cloudcycles of the gnomish armada. The fleet swallowed up the blue sky like a growing thundercloud, and rumbled no less ominously. And it’s not just the dead ogres they were bombing! They were blowing up everything! “Stupid gnomes,” one of the Amazons muttered dourly. She reached up into the air and swatted away the annoying fleet with her hands.
