My Favorite One is Melorkus. He is SO cute.

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 49087

Orkus, Dorkus, Lorkus, and Melorkus were their names. Yes, I know those aren’t very good names but they’re trolls for crying out loud! Orkus was the biggest of the four. He was an especially hairy fellow - even by ogre standards. The oily stuff grew in hopelessly tangled forests sprawling uncontrollably over his entire unwashed body. His luminous green eyes radiated a sexiness that confused many and worried others.

Dorkus had shifty orange eyes and was shorter than the rest of his companions. Frizzy light orange hair adorned his head but struggled to grow anywhere else. His skin was vomit-green and covered in festering boils.

Lorkus was the most boring of the four, with stark, utter vapidity being his only striking feature. He was about as average an ogre as there ever would be. He smelt of musky ogre-sweat and stale urine.

Melorkus was a bellicose chap with a chip on his shoulder. He was the most urban (or Metrosexual) of the four blundering brutes. Truth be told, he was actually half- troll/half-ogre. A truly savage mix. He wore a tattered Death Serpents of the Faceless God (a popular band of the time) t-shirt and some trendy pre- ripped and stonewashed blue jeans. He was always smoking a cigarette and his eyes were the color of cold ashes.

It was a dreary, overcast day when they first spotted the giants, with the wind chillier than usual and the birds strangely silent. “Oh no!” Exotica shrieked impulsively, pointing toward the barren, weed-choked hill that loomed ahead. “Ogres!” Her faced paled and her palms became clammy. She cowered behind the scantily-clad redhead that stood taller than the others and who carried the meanest looking spear.

The Amazons laughed at her open display of fear. All except for the tall redhead with the voluptuous but battle- hardened features. She patted Exotica on the head and ushered her back to her feet. “They’re just some ogres,” she told the quivering princess calmly, even as the giants marched ever closer. “I think we can handle them.” And her eyes narrowed menacingly.

By now the ogres were upon them. But it seemed they had no idea that they were walking right into the midst of twelve armed and dangerous Amazon warriors. Not until they were right on top of them.

Lorkus was the first to spot them and “Blimey!” he cried in surprise. This was followed by a string of ogre- expletives that would make even Howard Stern blush. “I thought I smelled sumthin’ funny!”

The Amazons, in turn...

  1. attacked first and asked questions later.
  2. ran away. Leaving Exotica alone with the monsters. Nice.
  3. tried to reason with the oversized brutes.
  4. tried to convert the ogres to their religion.
  5. tried to sell the ogres life-insurance.
