"We were on our way home," the Amazons' leader told Exotica, "but from
your accent you are obviously an Allarian so you wouldn't want to go in
that direction. We can't leave you here in this wild area to fend for
yourself, especially in your current state, so we will turn round and drop
you at the first sizeable town that we reach within Allaria. That
shouldn't delay us by more than a day or so. There should be a hospital
there where we can leave you, if your concussion hasn't improved and you
are still suffering from delusions when we get there."
That was what Exotica had feared. But perhaps there would be somebody at the hospital who would recognise her. Then everything would be all right. However the town was a long way from the capital, Caemlyn, where King Emry had his castle, so there was no guarantee of this.
