Fred and Astra could hardly believe their ears. "That's not right!" Fred
objected. "Let us tell you our full story. Maybe that will convince you."
"Why not?" Helia said. "It may at least be entertaining."
So Fred and Astra told their story, which took them about thirty
minutes. When they had finished, Helia said: "Bravo! It was every bit as
entertaining as I had hoped. But quite beyond the bounds of possibility,
of course, so any sneaking doubt that I might still have had has now been
removed. So what do you think we should do with them, Xyllis, Astra?"

"Well, I might be able to remove their enchantment and find out who they really are." Xyllis said. "It's possible that they could have been sent here as assasins, even though they aren't aware of it themselves."

"I could use a couple more maidservants, and it would be amusing to have these two," the native Astra said. "They would probably need a lot of training, dear," her mother pointed out.

Xyllis and the redheaded "Astra" exchanged surreptitious winks, before Xyllis answered: "You might as well let one of the brothels in the town have them. That's all they are good for."
