The cabbage farmer who had won the lottery decided to use the money to
build a church. Not that he was a particularly pious man - in fact all he
believed in was cabbage - but then it was not a church for worshipping God
in. No, this was a church for worshipping his cousin Astra (not the
princess, only someone else who still had a tendency to turn up naked in
the most embarassing places and situations), mostly because he owed her a
favour after that time she caught him cheating on his wife. With her. (To
avoid confusion, or perhaps attract it, said lady will henceforth be
referred to as Saint Astra.)
After the construction work had commenced (by the act of placing one rock on top of another), the farmer went to the village priest to talk about founding a new religious order.
