The hole contained a cut diamond of comparable size to the Koh-I-Noor (186 Carats), before Queen Victoria had it recut. As such, neither Astra nor Fred had seen anything like it. Neither the Allarian or Aqualarian crown jewels could boast such a gem. There was evidence that it hadn't been set into anything such as a crown or sceptre. The presence of the two anklets would seem to indicate that two former slaves they had belonged to had somehow stolen the diamond from somewhere, for reasons unknown at the moment. Perhaps it belonged to one of their former masters. Of course that threw up more questions.

  1. The snake told them to return to the valley.
  2. The diamond wasn't the only thing in the hole.
  3. They were told to keep searching the caves. Again for what the snake didn't say.
