The Never Ending Quest - Episode 47339

Mostly out of curiosity for what this latest incident of chaos will bring, you light your last emergency torch and follow Astra. The pathway widens into a strange set of stairs at least fifty feet wide. The roof is a half oval with pictures of sunny fields and animals at play on it. Straight in the middle is a ramp with smooth brass railings.
A ramp? Oh, yes. Sometimes old dwarves lose the use of their legs and are pushed around in wheeled chairs.
Scuff marks indicate the mine cart has gone down this way. But how far? The torch light is not that bright...

  1. Continue on down.
  2. Go back up.
  3. Sit on the stairs and wait for things.
  4. A dwarf being pushed by an extremely muscled dwarf comes up the ramp.
  5. King Emry emerges from a secret passageway on the left side of the stairs.
  6. You find a treasure chest the same color as the wall (it was not visible until now)...
