Sobriety is a Serious Business and Business Isn't So Good

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 47304

Both Scott and Josh realized that they have crash landed in the middle of an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Several people had abruptly gotten out of the way once the wall came crashing down and these two idiots stumbled through. There's no doubt that at least one of the spooked participants is going to fall off the wagon as soon as the meeting wraps up.

Scott Childers (or Chen, if you prefer) realizes what's going on first, then he stands up, and with all eyes on him, begins relating a story about how he went to see The Lion King when it first came out in theaters back in the nineties, and discovered a full bottle of red wine underneath his seat. By the time he had been caught and ejected from the theater, he had consumed half the bottle.

Apparently, half a bottle of wine was enough to reduce Scott into a very emotional drunk who capped off the night by pissing himself on the streets.

  1. "And that's how I met your mother!" Scott concludes his story.
  2. Scott admits that's why he never drank again.
  3. Josh halts Scott's story and insists none of this ever happened.
  4. Scott's story draws nothing but silence and confused looks. So, he begins telling dirty jokes.
  5. Josh has had enough, and leaves. He begins making his way down the staircase again...
  6. With that said, Scott leaves through a silver door on the other side of the room, leaving Josh behind.
