It is a large room. It is rectangluar, the short sides being thirty yards
and the long side being ninety. One ninety-yard sign is filled with
control consoles, some desks (no chairs) and a few framed pictures of
national monuments. Every other inch is a tv screen of some size or shape.
Most are dead. Some are fuzzy. Only a few show any scenes at all. Most are
things Josh and Scott don't want to look at. The side walls are stacked with files, paperwork and boxes of things that make strange 'woooo' sounds when shaken. The opposite wall has half a dozen large metal doors and more boxes. All but one of the doors are rusted shut. It leads to a dark passageway that smells of motor oil, popcorn and something that reminds Josh of the possum he once found by the side of the road. On one of the working screens stands a sort of familar pair. Josh and Scott have met Roland the Gunslinger and Oy the billy-bumbler before. Roland is a thinner Clint Eastwood, with dark hair and a blue jean get up. Oy, now Oy is the big thing. A cross between a dog and a racoon and a small bobcat, he was grey and black on the world Josh and Scott had met him on. Now here he is ORANGE and black. A clear sign this is an alternate universe Gunslinger and Oy. Now what?
