The Never Ending Quest - Episode 47115

Climbing every mountain isn't as hard as it sounds, but to do it right Josh has to carry a little girl on his shoulders just like Christopher Plummer did in the movie. Halfway up the Matterhorn he unexpectedly runs into the aging actor.

"Hello Josh," says Christopher cheerfully. "How's it going?"

"It's hard work," Josh gasps. "This little girl is heavy, and I doubt she would be lighter if she was my sister. How did you manage?"

"It's a trick of the trade," Christopher explains. "I wasn't really carrying Kym Karath in that scene."

"I know, you levitated her, right?"

Christopher chuckles. "No no, she wasn't even there. She had grown too heavy for me, so we used a stunt double."

"Now you're telling me!"

  1. Josh proceeds to climb every mountain in the solar system. Halfway up Olympus Mons he runs out of air.
  2. He wises up and does the rest of his climbing in virtual reality.
  3. He asks the girl if she has a younger sister. Preferably one made of balsa wood.
  4. The girl wants ice cream. Now. Nnnnoooww!!
  5. The girl wants a pony.
  6. The girl levitates Josh
  7. What's an octogenarian doing on the side of Matterhorn anyway?
  8. Kym Karath reminisces about her career.
