Fred Doesn't Converse Well

"Yes," said Lord Fred, smiling, "certainly am."

"What you really mean," continued Belboz, "is that you were going to pay him back... by.. killing him?"

"Quite!" said Lord Fred, grinning madly, and is that froth at the corner of his mouth? Surely not. Anyway, let's continue...

"Ah..." said Belboz, "well, uh, I have to tell you, the dragon is... out."

"Out?!" exclaimed Lord Fred, his face turning a rather alarming shade of red very quickly. "What do you mean, out?! I need to repay my debt, and I need to repay it now!"

"Hmm..." mused Belboz worriedly. "Let me just check! I will be right back..." and then Belboz scurried out of the area as quick as his feet would carry him.

1. Lord Fred waited patiently for Belboz's return.
2. Lord Fred waited impatiently for Belboz's return
3. Lord Fred gave chase to Belboz. "Come back you miserable bastard!" he exclaimed frothily
4. Lord Fred shrugged, started going through Belboz's things
5. Belboz hurried to warn the dragon about Lord Fred and his "debt repayment plan"
