Astra had slept in a tree many times before, propping herself at the point where a main branch joined the trunk. Thus she was confident that she wouldn't fall.

When she awoke, she felt refreshed, but hungry and decidedly chilly. Though it was still night, the full moon gave plenty of light, so she climbed down from the tree and resumed heading towards the forest. At least walking briskly would warm her up, and if she was lucky she might even spot something to eat.

  1. Astra finds some berries which she thinks she recognises as being edible.
  2. Astra reaches the forest without having found anything to eat. Not much moonlight penetrates the trees.
