Fortunately they explode away from the group, leaving them all alive, albiet with random scratches and gouges.
The group heads for the Staircase Room Albertson's Grocery store and buy up a load of bandages. They frighten the poor cashier near to a heart attack and she has to go lay down.
Unfortunately a glitch in the P.A. system has caused the other cashiers not hear that they are needed at the front.
The group stand near the registers. Michael Bolton music plays from somewhere. The dark green change machine rattles and hums as it tries to digest several foreign coins.
"Hello?" said Josh. "We will like to pay for our purchases now."

  1. Someone approaches, an employee.
  2. Fredddy Krueger approaches. He is an employee.
  3. ODS wanders off.
  4. Scott and Josh run off to play Ice Cream Bar hockey in the frozen food aisle.
  5. Fred is eaten by an invisible monster.
  6. Commander Duke, of the G.I.Joe team shows up. Duke has a minor concussion and is delirious.
  7. Alex Delaware shows up.
  8. Several characters from Office Space approach.
  9. Josh punches random buttons on the register.
  10. Same as above but Josh causes a lockdown with bulletproof shutters.
