Monstrous Deception

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 46288

Fred felt wonderfully exhausted and drained as he lay in the opulent bed of Umbriela, the Dark Queen of the Devil Bunny Women. He had been separated from Lava Man upon arrival, and for the past two days had been whipped, hung in chains, electrocuted and forced to lick everything imaginable, from boots to filthy latrine floors. At last he had despaired of ever receiving anything in return, had decided that these Bunnies didn't care for him at all - that they only thought of their own needs and desires. And then, he had been summoned before Umbriela, who met him wearing only thigh-high fishnet stockings and high heels.

Umbriela was a striking brunette who seemed oddly familiar somehow. Fred had thought it strange - how fervently she clung to him, how she begged for his touch (as if she was the slave and he was the master!) and especially how she had slaughtered two virgin kobolds and poured their blood into a carved pentagram around the bed. But soon, all these concerns were forgotten, as Fred lost himself to ruby-red lips, silky-soft skin, and the incredibly fluffy ears and tail of Umbriela.

"You know..." Fred said afterwards, as Umbriela combed her hair in front of a mirror next to the bed, "...its strange, but... it seems like I've met you before."

"Did you only figure it out now, son?" Umbriela laughed.

"What?!" Fred gasped.

"Ah, yes. There's the same confused look and slack-jawed stare I remember so well of Lord Drederigo." Umbriela smirked, setting down her comb. "Your father, as you may know, was fiercely loyal to his wife and never kept mistresses - all except for one. Me."

Fred's mind reeled and spun and exploded into a bright-red blur in his eyes. Now he knew why Umbriela's face looked so familiar - it was so much like the one he saw every time he looked in the mirror. In a single instant he denied it a thousand times, and a thousand times knew it was the truth. It explained his human mother's relative coldness, and his own constant craving for lettuce, and even the fluffy little tail that grew out of his coccyx - the fluffy little tail he was so ashamed of, and strove always to hide.

"What's the matter?" Umbriela giggled. "Is it finally sinking in?"

"Mother!! Why?!!" cried Fred, falling to his knees before her.

"Because you were a miscalculation, you little fool." she said, kicking him away, "But this time, I shall not fail. This time, the stars are aligned just right. This time... I will achieve the power I seek."

"What are you talking about?" Fred sobbed.

"Our child, my son." Umbriela smiled, gently stroking her bare stomach. "Soon he will be born... in just a few days in fact. So you'll understand that I have no further use for you. Bunnies!! Take him out of my sight. Let this useless fool rot away in the Dungeon of Regret."

Fred babbled incoherently as Bunny guards dragged him away. Even if he hadn't expended all his vital energy just now, he wouldn't have resisted.

  1. It was a defeated, broken man that was finally tossed into a cell within the Dungeon of Regret.
