Recaps and Whatnots

"You wish to see Lord Fred and Lady Alicia?" the wolfman says blankly.

Forgive me for a moment as we interrupt this tale at this point to point out what has been happening thus far!

For those who've just come into the middle of this (or for those who've just plain forgotten, waiting patiently for so long between installments), this recap and whatnot is for you.

First, let us start with the natives of this reality. Alicia had been captured much earlier by Minestus and transformed into a female fox humanoid. Not quiet like the Manimal kind found on Terra Prime but more like their neo-lycanthropic progenitors. She got stashed away on a secret island enclave of the dragon mage somewhere within the Great Kingdom along with others that Minestus had transformed. The reason exactly why she'd been transformed and all that by Minestus isn't exactly clear since unlike Fred she belonged to a kingdom that wasn't persecuting nonhumans, but all the same she'd been changed and enclaved. She's grown to like her new form, so that's okay. Fred had been a knight of the Great Kingdom tasked by his king do go out to slay the Dragon of the Southern Caverns. Fred got tricked by Minestus, who'd been posing as a peasant boy turned into a dog by the dragon (good acting job), and changed into a male humanoid fox and enclaved along with Alicia. The transformed Fred had been transformed into this vice just a simple animal for persecution of nonhumans because despite "crimes" like going out to slay him (Minestus), all in all Fred was a man of honor AND had not done any other crimes against nonhumans before then and there. As for Astra, she'd had been captured and chained up to the cave walls naked by Minestus as bait and distraction for those like Fred. Like Fred she had been out to slay Minestus but since she came from Aqualaria (not the Great Kingdome, Allaria) Minestus didn't tranform her into another form until after releasing her to the custody of the Champions. The dragon had only done that (transforming the female human into a MALE pixie) as a lasting jab. A jest that would prove to be . . . rather lethal to him when the ticked off Faire Folk decided they were less than amused. Due to her. . .er . . .his new fey nature the male pixie who'd been known as Astra found himself falling in love with a woman he'd not even met yet: the female centaur named Frieda D'Honaire (a fellow Champion of Eternity Inc). This lead from one thing to another and the male pixie found herself transformed (through a boon granted by one of the Higher Powers or whatnot . . . details unclear) into a male centaur so to better able to . . . interface with Frieda (otherwise the relationship . . . would boggle the mind). He (now calling himself Zeliseth) has joined up with the Champions (a "probationary" Champion himself now) acting as a native guide while the Champions deal with their current Validation Quest (more on that in a bit). Oh, one last thing. If, after the male centaur returns to Terra Prime and fails to win Frieda's heart he'll die. But that's something that shall be addressed later, okay?

Now, let's cover the Champions and their Validation Quest. Recent additions to the Clan Eternity Incorporated included Dragoness Andrea (http://www. geocities.com/ rule179 \CharacterBios\ dragonessandrea. htm). She had come into the Champion's circles because of falling for Dragon Synizn 2 (http://www. geocities.com/ rule179/ BiosEarthPrime. html#Dragon Synizn). To seal her inclusion, her Validation Quest (chaperoned by vetted Champions Dragon Synizn 2, Joan, Ti'mma, Jarlath 2, and Aaron) is pretty much summarized here (re: 43393). Additional problems the Champions are facing are: factions (native elves) who'd like Fred's plans of establishing a viable nonhuman nation to fail so that THEIR plans would be implemented, the fact that both native Alicia and Fred are suffering from amnesia induced from the stress of suddenly finding themselves transformed fully into Manimals (something that could cause their dreams of a new nation to fall apart if revealed), and finally they're running into the protective buffer the other manimals have thrown around the amnesia suffering couple.
