The Never Ending Quest - Episode 46187

Trying to escape doesn't seem to be a sensible option. You suspect that, even should you succeed in getting away, you could not survive in an alien desert. Though you can remember nothing about yourself, you retain sufficient memories of western culture to recognise that this world appears to be Edgar Rice Burroughs' Mars. Unfortunately you can't remember any details that might help you in your current predicament, though.

As the man escorts you through the gate into the city, you have an idea. "Would a slave wear a ring like this?" you ask, showing him your hand. He replies:

  1. "Yes, were the household wealthy enough."
  2. "Yes, but only a slave from the Imperial household."
  3. "Your Highness, please forgive me. How could I have failed to recognise you?"
  4. "How did you come by that ring? It appears that you are a thief as well as a slave."
