Both Scott and Jeeves are unable to suppress the look of dissapointment
etched on their faces as Josh sets aside the soda and investigates the
shiny thing in the next room, that being the only bedroom in the place.
The stale, musty odor that hangs in that neglected corner of their
apartment is awful - a mix between dirty laundry and the stench of death
(Scott had bragged about ‘training his hamster to no eat or drink’, and
this was the obvious consequence). Floating perfectly still above a stack of empty pizza boxes is an orb of bluish light. “Hello,” it says. “I am the Orb of All-Knowingness.” Josh scratches his head. “Scott!’ he finally screams. “You didn’t tell me we got another roommate!” He turns back to the orb. “You know how much rent is, right?”“Of course,” the orb replies. “I Know All.” Scott and Jeeves meander into the room at this point, as equally confused as Josh is.
