"Annafrid is right," said Astra 9 Cistrygia. "It would probably be best if there were
judges represented from both our parties." The other Champions seemed slightly
uneasy about this, and Tarin in particular began to mutter discontentedly, but they
all realized that this was an increasingly delicate situation and this would be the
best way to handle it. "Does anyone have any ideas as to who would be best
suited for this?"
"Certainly not me," said Checkers. "I do not feel qualified to stand as judge over any of your people, as I honestly do not understand you very well. I think Lord Fred would make the best judge of the challenge, as he is an experienced warrior." "That's fair enough," said Astra C. She wasn't pleased at the idea of working with this universe's Fred or letting him referee over her battle, but he was better than Belboz. "One thing, though," said Belboz, almost gleefully. "Naturally, each of you will both have matches of your own in the future. I think that it would be most fair if both our parties were represented at all times. Lueoth could take Astra's place in the matches in which she takes part, and I could take Frederigo's place." He smiled ingratiatingly.
