Pierrot and Columbine?

After the applause had died down, Mary asked, "Astra, where did you hear that song? Is it native to your homeland? And who were Pierrot and Columbine?"

Astra answered, "It is a folk song that I have heard since I was a child. To be honest, I do think that we got it from somewhere else. As to who Pierrot and Columbine were, I really do not know."
