An Impossible Encounter

"Hello, Astra darling," her mother said. "I'm so glad to see that you're wearing some clothes now. We were afraid that you'd catch your death of cold when the dragon had you chained up naked like that."

Astra rubbed her eyes. "I must be hallucinating," she said. "There's just no way that you can really be here. And how could you possibly know that I was chained up?"

1. Sure enough, she was hallucinating.
2. She wasn't exactly hallucinating, more the victim of a spell of illusion.
3. Her mother and father really were there.
