Then Astra pushed two of the women aside, and walked into the circle to stand next to Amy and Rami. "I'm not letting you lynch these girls," she said. "That prophecy is nonsense, Poliphera. I suspect that the Dragon only captured you so that you could stir up trouble amongst us with your old wives' tales. Why else should you be the only one here who is older than thirty?"

"I'm not letting Amy and Rami be lynched either," Exotica said.

1. Grumbling, the other women dispersed. But Amy was afraid that one night (not that night and day were very meaningful terms here), when the women were mostly asleep, someone would stick a knife into her heart and that of her sister.
2. But nobody else came to Amy's and Rami's aid. The other women were not deterred by odds of twelve against four, and a fight ensued.
3. Just then, the sisters were teleported out of the cave. The Dragon didn't want to risk his future mates being harmed. Yes, Poliphera had been right all along!
