The Attack on Voyager

As you look back, you see, much to your surprise, that the Voyager is resting on the ground in the valley. What was with that whole "boring and useless plot" thing that popped into your head? Probably just an hallucination. But how did you teleport into this cavern, anyway? Was it that Chaos Energy thing that the ensign was talking about? You decided that you probably really don't want to think about it too hard, for the sake of your sanity.

At any rate, you decide to go back up. This place is very strange to you and you are probably safer with the Voyager people, even though you don't quite trust them and don't like Voyager very much anyway. It's a few miles to the ship, but they'll probably spot you fairly soon. However, since you're a bit tired, you'll sleep for now and make for the ship in the morning.

Once you've decided that, however, a strange screaming noise comes from above you. You run into the cave and hit the floor, while looking up at the source. Three flashes of red light ring out, solidifying into three beings who are clearly alien. They are wearing spiky black armor covered with blood-red runes. They definitely do not look like something the Star Trek people had designed.

1. Do you hide, hoping these aliens don't notice you?
2. Or do you try to escape by running down the stairs?
