Astra is No Stranger to Archery

Henri was yet again impressed by this woman he had only known for not even half a day. It was obvious to him that she was no stranger to using bows, just out of practise. He planned to ask her about it later.

Though it was true Astra had gone to battle the dragon armed with a sword, bows were her peoples weapon of choice. The jungle and the forest were two seperate environments, but they did share some similarities, that of having wildlife that had to be shot from a distance. More so in the case of the jungle. The most effective armour, that being metal, wouldn't be much use there, for obvious reasons. The only types of armour they could wear didn't fare well under the onslaught of the more ferocious beasts.

1. Achery range practise over, they moved on to trying to shoot straw dummies hanging from trees.
2. As above, but the dummies were attached to wooden stands.
3. A bit further in the woods, there was a dummy encampment. The soldiers had to practise infiltration.
