Astra decided that telling the truth was far better than trying to lie.
Indeed, when she thought about it, there would really no way that any lie
she could come up with would seem plausible. So she told Henri the whole
truth. Henri kept quiet during her story and once she had finished was
quiet for a few moments afterwards. He nodded then said, "Now it's my turn to tell you something. There is another reason I in particular was sent to retrieve you." Henri went on to explain that he was a keen observer of body language and knew all the signs that showed that someone was lying, such as sweating, fidgeting and so on. On hearing this, Astra gave an inward sigh of relief. Though not as inward as she would have liked. She'd never been good at lying - it was unseemly for a princess to lie! she'd constantly been told as a young girl in Aqualaria - and was sure any attempt she'd made would have been instantly picked up. Henri smiled when he saw that. "Perhaps you would like some rest before your meeting with the captain?"
