Astra Decides

Astra pauses for a moment, going over the two tales. You stare daggers at Fred for jeopardising your existance and would have used this slight hesitation to try and get away, but find you're rooted to the spot.

She tells Fred that she believes him. He looks like he wanted to give Astra a hug, but decides otherwise and runs off gleefully instead. You groan in despair. Turning to you, eyes glinting, she says, "Normally I would have killed you for lying to me. However, you're holding some of the crown jewels that belong to the Aqualarian Queen Mother. Give them to me and I'll let you live."

Your relief at being allowed to live far outweighs the disappointment at losing the shiny things. You hand them over, suddenly remembering about there being lots and lots of shiny things still in the caves. "Don't you dare touch any of that," Astra warns, apparently reading your mind. "If I ever find you near these caves again, your life will be forfeit." She doesn't mention about you claiming to kill the dragon, even though you did, sort of. Well, it's not if anyone would believe you, anyway.

She gives a high-pitched whistle and a brilliant white stallion seems to gallop in from nowhere. Astra easily vaults on top of him. She turns him to face you and yells, "Now get out of here or I'll trample you!"

1. Frightened, you do as she says. You keep running until you collapse in a heap, no clue where you are.
2. You turn to run, but trip, and end up rolling down the mountainside.
3. Hearing a raucous cry, you look up to see this huge golden eagle swoop down on you.
