Fred and Cleric examine the spear-ridden corpse of one of the near- identical guys that made up the majority of their party.
"Well," said Fred, poking one of the more horrifically placed spears, "This certainly shows us that the way to the dragon is very, very dangerous."
Someone snorts in disgust.

  1. The team stop for a night at an inn. The barkeep, a total stranger, asks the group to clear the basement of bats, rats and something called 'Flibber-makers'.
  2. Fred spends some time talking to Adalai Johnson, who had signed on to the team to earn money for his sick mother. Johnson is crushed by rocks ten minutes later.
  3. Fred finds a bandanna that increases his stealthiness abillity. No need for the lessons from Ninja Bob, ten paces behind him! Stupid ninja.
