The SCB

"Funny thing, that confusion bomb. It seemed to do the trick. The goblin thinks he is in some fantasy land called Norway, and I was able to escape."

Fred wandered past the volcano control room and back outside the caves. He wanted to stay out of the cave for a time. Who knew what weird effects the confusion bomb would have?

Unfortunately for Fred, this was a strategic confusion bomb (SCB), not a tactical confusion bomb (TCB). The blast radius of the bomb therefore covered a much larger range. As Fred peeked out of the caves, the scene had changed. Instead of opening to a barren plain, the cave mouths opened to the top of a looming cliff. Below was a long, thin body of water like a lake. Off in the distance, Fred could make out a wooden building. It was not remarkable, except that there was a flagpole flying a flag of no nation that he had ever known. The flag was red, with a blue cross outlined in white.

1. Fred walks to the building with the flag.
2. Fred tries to climb down the cliff.
