The Never Ending Quest - Episode 43492

"I must have been hallucinating," Astra said. "It must be because of those mushrooms that the dragon fed to me a short while before Fred freed me. I should have known that a metal rod that got cooler when you talked to it and a talking sword that dispensed curses couldn't be real. But how am I to know what is real and what is a hallucination?"

She looked at B'Thine suspiciously. It was an unlikely name for a dwarf. And deep in the dragon's caves was surely an unlikely place to find someone describing themselves as a craftsman, tailor, and drink mixer.

  1. But B'Thine was real enough.
  2. B'Thine, the sword, the drawers and Astra's clothes promptly disappeared, leaving her in a featureless cave. Everything that had happened since she had arrived here had been a hallucination.
  3. Astra suddenly found herself back chained naked to a tunnel wall. Everything from Fred's appearance onwards had been a hallucination.
