Fred had expected, and hoped, that Rachel would be outclassed by the
warrior princess when it came to swordplay. But it soon became clear that
his sister was very competent with a blade. Fred wondered where she had
learnt to fight so well. It must have been in the two years since she had
stormed out of the family castle, swearing revenge on Fred and his parents
(though none of them could understand why she seemed to hate them so).
But for all her skill, her reach did not match the tall Aqualarian's, nor did her duplicate of the fourteen year-old Carola's body have the strength and exceptional fitness that would have been needed if she was to match Astra for stamina. After ten minutes or so, as Rachel began to tire, Astra started to get the upper hand. Eventually a mighty blow knocked aside Rachel's attempt at a parry, and cleaved her head from her body.
