"Carola" continued: "You see, the Dragon cast a spell on me to make me look like Carola, but I am really your own sister Rachel. The real Carola is dead and I was substituted for her, without Belinda being aware of it. Why am I doing this? Because I've always hated you, Fred, and because the Dragon has promised me great power and wealth if I kill you."

Rachel's hands were still over the paralysed Fred's nose and mouth, and everything was starting to go black.

  1. He lapsed into unconsciousness. Is this the end for Fred?
  2. Unexpectedly, another voice came from behind them: "Thank you for your confession, Rachel. I was suspicious, and so didn't touch my drugged drink. You will pay for my sister's death." It was Astra.
