The Never Ending Quest - Episode 43060

Anyid was wearing a shirt and pants, but (as was usual for her) no shoes. Apart from her face and the palms of her clawed hands, the visible parts of her body were covered in grey fur. Her pointed ears, which emerged at the top of her head through her hair, were twitching, as was the tail that emerged through a hole in the back of her pants, and she was making little growling noises. She was perhaps dreaming that she was chasing down her lunch.

Astra left Anyid sleeping, and returned to her younger sister. Mel was wearing a velvet gown very similar to the one that Astra had found herself dressed in. Astra wanted to find out what was going on, so she gently shook Mel by the shoulder to wake her up.

  1. Mel's eyes opened. "Astra?!" she said. "What are you doing here?"
  2. Mel's eyes opened. "Astra?!" she said. "Where is this place? And where's Anyid?"
  3. Mel's eyes opened. "Who are you?" she asked.
  4. But Mel could not be woken. Astra thought that she must have been drugged.
