The Two-Headed Seagull Returns

Suddenly Josh heard a knock at the door.

He opened it and at the door was a man in his forties dressed in a brown suit and carrying a battered attache case. He wore thick tortoise- shell glasses, and had just a bit of a pot belly. On his sportcoat and attache case was an emblem with a two-headed seagull.

The man spoke. "Are you Josh Burbank?"

"Yes, I think so. The author has not read from the beginning of the story, so there may be a plot discontinuity. Why do want to know?"

"I am an envoy from the King of the Jetsam Islands. The King wants to engage your services for a special mission."

1. The King wants you to spy on Jetsam's enemy, the Commonwealth of Flotsam.
2. The King wants you to become the consort of Polly. She also has spontaneously grown a set of wings.
