“I know that you’re in league with the seagulls,” Scott proclaims
threateningly. “And I won’t let you exalt the sky-lords of Oberon without
a fight.” Josh turns to face his arch-nemesis and laughs. “You’ve been watching too many cartoons,” he belittles Scott. This is followed by a humorous anecdote that we’ll just ignore for now, due to time- constraints and another word from our sponsors... “Hey, kids!” says Spanky the Clown. “Do you like violence?” All of the kids cheer in unison and, “Hell yeah we do!” they respond. “Do you like nuns and leprechauns!?” Spanky drives on, slapping his sidekick Hobo the Ho.The chorus of their little squeaky voices again replies with a resounding ‘yes.’ “Then don’t miss my new show every Saturday morning at 7 am! If you DO miss it, I’ll hunt you down!” Spanky vows gleefully. “No matter where you run, I’ll be there in your nightmares!” Hobo the Ho runs around in circles, probing his ear with an icepick. “Get the voices out of my head!” Hobo screams.Back to the Main Event... Scott advances on Josh with his hedge clippers, intent on clipping off Josh’s wings. “Prepare to meet your doom!” he threatens proclaimingly.Josh flaps his glorious wings and takes flight. He hovers around the Staircase Room and taunts Scott. Scott eventually loses interest and goes back to watching cartoons.Josh grows bored as well. He gracefully lands on one of the teal couches and endures Scott’s dumb cartoons for awhile.
