A Modest Proposal

"What's it worth to you?" the wavering adolescent voice asked.

"What's it worth to me? This is my life we're talking about!" Amy was flummoxed.

"OK, I'll be more specific. It doesn't look like you have very much to offer me. So, if I cut you down, will you give me your bra and underpants?"

Amy grimaced,

1. but this was a matter of life and death. "Yes, I will," she reluctantly sighed.
2. and grew red with anger. "No, you sick little pervert. Now get me out of this web before it's too late!"
