Eventually, his old science teacher walks away. Wow, Scott muses. And I thought I had problems. After he puts a misplaced copy of ‘Breakfast Club’ back where it belongs, manifests a porno section by pure will, and stops a shoplifter, he leaves the shop.It’s a bright and sunny day, with clouds sailing lazily by overhead and birds chirping in the trees and all that good stuff. Cars ramble along the street merrily, spewing out their toxic vapors. A few pedestrians are gathered around a street performer on the sidewalk. Some dude in a black trenchcoat is selling pot to school children in a nearby alleyway. A sniper sits perched in an oak tree, aiming his gun at what appears to be some sort of city council member, passing out pamphlets for his re- election to passers-by. Just another average day in small town, America. Wait a minute! ‘A sniper sits perched in an oak tree’!?“This is it!” Scott tells himself. “This is my moment! My chance to be a hero!” How does Scott stop the sniper?
