Zular the Cleaner

The king sends a couple of guards out to visit the usual suspects and look for clues. They arrive at Zular's castle and find no trace of Fred ever having been there, although one guard does sustain a black eye from tripping over the rug in the main hall with the very large lump underneath it.

"It was such a smelly rug as well" he reports back to his watch sergeant, "and crawling with flies. I don't know why a posh gent like Duke Zular would keep such a thing in his home."

The sergeant's face blackens: "You IDIOT! . . .

1. "I'm going back to the Duke to see what's REALLY going on!"
2. "you could have ruined the Duke's carpet!"
