Well, at least now I’ve gotten that issue settled (if only for myself)....

John’s still got his back against the wall as I walk away a bit.

Looking back I call to him.

"Frell, old man!" I chuckle softly. "Don’t we need to get some people down to the frellin’ Infirmary I keep hearing about? Get moving!"

I turn and march off. I may have forgiven him, but I am NOT going to wait for him to make up his mind here now that I see he's not falling apart, now.

My sister with the eyesight problems still need help, you know.

And maybe after-after this I can talk with my new sisters here. The ones that are being escorted down to the Infirmary. I wanna know just why they seem less distressed over what's happened to them than I figured I'd be over this body swapping dren!

"You going to be alright?" I ask softly, coming up next to him. "Do you need help yourself or are you going to be able to keep it together?"

"I . . . think so," he says softly, looking at the female AI.

Looking him over slowly, I draw my own conclusions on that.

"Then come," I say softly, gesturing for him to follow down the corridor. "And later if you want, you can talk with Counselor Troi."

"She's actually here?" he blinks. "The Enterprise counselor? I mean...."

"She is here and she does actually exist," I say softly. "Top of her field, nowadays. Or, at least one of the top...."

There is another, who'd gone kind of native back down on Terra Prime from the Military who's name was....

"Oh Creator," B'Elanna sighs. "If Walker and Troi get get into the same room, the sparks!....."

Shit. The first time those two met had been . . . stuff of legend. Let's just say that each has a different approach to treating patients. Troi's way of treatment is gentle but effective. Walker? Well, it's . . .rough but ready. Perfect for her former career in the Military as a Boot Camp Instructor (which required a degree in psychology at bare minimum). Walker holds more than the minimum. Very decorated, educationally. Magna cum lauda in several degrees, point in fact.

Much smarter than what that silly accent of her's sometimes would lend, let me tell you. I'm talking about the Military's Walker. Mine?

If she ever existed in my Alliance, she didn't leave much of a mark. No records of her existence, at all. Maybe . . . either she never was born in my Alliance space or . . . died in some street fight before she could join the Alliance Military.

Never shall know. One of quiet a few differences between Military realms and Alliance realms. Oh, I have an analog sister in the Military Realm, but there are differences between Mirrors, you know.

Nature of my former job, you know. Hm, will have to seek employment here soon enough

Well, that said John's going to at least be able to get down to the Infirmary, but I'm going to STRONGLY suggest he see Walker (and her friends), not Troi however.

As good as Councelor Troi it, she's not qualified for this!

He needs it. No, not saying that he's going to fall apart her for natural reason, but more like because there are signs written all over that episode back there. I myself, as I am now (an AI walking around in is not capable of using or casting magic. Too artificial in origin, despite there being arguements still over the nature of whether or not Avatar Units (at least in part) are . . . Nevermind, suffice to say I cannot cast magic spells (not a magic user) but I remember both Terra Prime training briefs and emails I had over the subject with my sister (the one who married that Timelord).

Yes, this Crichton struck me as odd even BEFORE now in the way he acts. However, even as odd as John here seems, even though it's only been a brief time since I'd first met him that display of emotions John had (where he'd backed into a corner)....
