Going Right. Into Weirdness.

There is another staircase that leads away from the pyramid wall.

They go down. It is one flight. At the end is a crowded landing. There are two doors, one on each side. Both have windows. The right door leads to what is obviously a kitchen. But it is a strange kitchen, filled with oddities. As Astra and Fred watch, a chef places a plate of food into a box with a door. He jabs, seemingly at random, at foreign letters printed to the right of the door. Then more foreign letters above the jabbing spot start changing! Fred notes the changing letters correspond to the ones below.

To the right is something more normal. It is an indoor jousting range. Dozens surround the battle area. A knight charges down the beaten dirt path and spears a lady's ring hanging from a strand of horsehair. Fred is impressed.

Suddenly one of the door's is opened from the other side! Uh oh.

Which door is it, dear readers?

1. The jousting area door. (Phew!)
2. The strange kitchen's door. (Oh no).
