Up another level was very odd. Empty of people. It seemed to be a typical
taven with two important differences. The furniture, floor...everything
was sparkling clean. And it had a boatload of booze. Fred had worked a
summer at the docks so he knew what a boatload was. Everywhere he looked,
standing on shelves, everywhere one could sanely put a bottle of the
finest hooch was...hooch. And a grand wrought iron and red cloth staircase going straight up in the middle of the floor.
