Barbara, Not Babs

"I suppose so," Fred said. "But perhaps we should introduce ourselves first, since although we now know that we are cousins we still haven't told each other our names. I am Lord Frederigo D'Honaire, but please call me Fred."

"And my name is Barbara, but don't you dare call me Babs. I hate that. Now if we could get on with the chain cutting..."

Fred aimed a massive blow with his sword at the chains.

1. He cut through them easily.
2. The chains were unharmed and his sword was damaged. "You didn't tell me just how you got yourself into this situation," Fred observed, as he looked ruefully at the sword.
3. There was a shower of sparks. Apparently the chains had had some enchantment placed on them.
