Doctors, Golems and Rabbits...

The wizard (Pronklezilch) promptly disappeared. The two newly transformed rabbits look about, feeling like something . . . should be different and that something should be remembered.

Then even that fades leaving only bunny thoughts and bunny desires.

For you see, that is ALL that is left within these simple animals: rabbits. The bodies live, but the minds?

You cannot without magicks to support the mental framework of a functioning human mind expect it to remain intact in the mind of a simple hare! That is ridiculous to expect and that said . . .

In a very real sense Pronky just committed a double murder, even THOUGH the bodies are still amongst the living.

The soul/spirits of Astra and Fred? If you believe in such things (and for this setting let us say such things are in this magical realm at least), then in THIS particular case the mystical connection to body and soul is severed.

Bunnies they are and bunnies they stay barring divine intervention.

The male bunny and female bunny (who are taking interest in each other) realize that they really should not be out in the open like this. Start to make a move to safer (more hidden) environments when ...

They're too late . . .

Suddenly, without even a flash a group appears on a path with them!!

"Well, at least THIS time it is sunny and no spiders about!" Elrondir blinks, looking about and then having eyes fall upon two rabbits who seem to be frozen in place in fear at his groups sudden appearance.

He watches as the scared rabbits take off like bats out of Hell.

"I do believe that first thing we must do is find some kind of friendly civilization outpost to get the lay of the land," the Doctor begins. "See what the latest developments and rumors of any missing Allarian nobles and Aqualarian princesses and all that."

If only the rabbits could talk. As it is later, while they cannot talk they DO the Vulcan salute thing: "be fruitful and multiply".
