A "Catch 22" Situation...

I remember what Fred the Manfox told about why he and the rest of his countrymen, the Manimals, looked like humanoid animals. It was because their Minestus had believe that human beings, while having some decided advantages over other types, was still something of an "evolutionary dead end". So he had gathered up a lot of human beings, experimented on them and produced a means of changing ordinary humans into his "improved model", the Manimals.

Now, somehow it appears that something has unleashed that neo- lycanthropy at least onto this village....but my elfin senses tell me it's much more widespread than just here....

Being that his Minestus also, from notes uncovered later on, wished to wipe the memories of those Manimals so that they remembered nothing before coming to be what they'd become we have another problem. A good hint is that image of a stylized Minestus in that religious temple complex. That is a VERY good hint.

He wants to be their god!!

Way the worshippers are going at it, at least so far he has a GOOD following!
