Unwelcome Surprise

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 41647

"Yaah!" You cry, wrenching the steering wheel and causing the sports car to go into a spin. You recover enough to turn the wheel in the opposite direction in order to counteract it, before you slam your foot down on the brake, and the car jerks to a stop.

Looking at the backseat, you find that Fred got thrown about quite a bit, and was now looking quite ill. Astra shook her head to clear it, then undid her seatbelt. She then got out of the car and into the back. Forcibly picking up Fred, Astra unceremoniously dumped him outside the car before getting back into the front passenger's seat. She turns to you and says, "What are you waiting for? Let's get out of here before he recovers."

  1. Before you can go anywhere, you hear sirens and the state police arrive.
  2. You accidently put the car in reverse. There's a bump as you back over Fred.
  3. You find the engine's cut out and you can't start it up again.
